THE FRUSTRATION WITH STRATEGIC PLANNING!!
I've been there! Do a strategic plan, then it takes a back seat while dealing with day to day operations. Research says the number one reason CEOs are fired is not because they do not develop good strategies, but they fail to accomplish the strategies they set. I knew there must be a better way! I've developed a process that streamlines strategic planning and then accomplishes the plan.

The Manufacturing Technology Center has used Reed 4 times to facilitate the development and revisions of our strategic plan. We have found him to be very knowledgeable, insightful, and competent. The Montgomery Museum and Lewis Miller Regional Art Center board members have just completed a series of four sessions with Reed Kennedy to determine a Strategic Plan for the museum's future. Reed's excellent facilitation guided us through a well structured process involving a series of categories, which when completed, formed our plan of action. Reed facilitated our strategic planning process over Zoom due to the coronavirus pandemic. Well, not exactly, but I was the chief editor and author of an existing open source textbook that I adapted for use by our Virginia Tech students online for free. At least 41 other universities have indicated they are adopting the textbook, including several in other countries, so that their students can use this textbook at no cost.
